egyption and iranian national teams
it is a puzzle to me why the federation decided not to send us any of the competing teams to have a few workouts before the show,they sent them all to our competition,becouse of speachil relationchips the only people who came were the egyptians and the iranians,we enjoyed having them and they had great workouts and loved the gym,guess what the egyptians took 1st place as a team and ali tabrizi from iran got the overall trophy,so you see after all, we got the best of the best.
hussain jassim
what can i say about hussain jassim,the 75klg champ at the worlds,he is a member of the bahraini team,he came in in the best shape of his life,i think he was the most ripped at the show,he deserved his 1st place trophy,congrats to him.
2008world bodybuilding championships
it was great that bahrain has hosted the 08world championships,goy and the federation did a fantastic job in making this event so succesfull but unfortunetly few things don't change,the judging,i agreed with all the first place placings but in some categories from the 2nd place finisher and down there have been mistakes,for example in the90 kilo category the 2nd place finisher should have been3rd,also in the 60kilo category,the2nd place finisher should have placed4th.it is very unfair for champs not to be awarded their rightfull positions,we are harming the sport if the judging doesn't improve or politic's get involved.if un undeserving was rewarded,then how can he improve and come in better next year,but if each bodibuilder is positioned where he should be then if he was placed low he would have a purpose to improve and come in stronger and better in other future shows.i wish every single member of the bahraini national team the best at future shows and i hope they train smart and know that there is always room for improvement.
more techno gym equipment
3 diffrent back machines are part of the few machines that i like that are manufactured by techno gym,i purchased all3 for ghassans gym,2 are already there,one will be delliverd next month.
i am happy that my members agree with me,they loved them.
techno gym equipment
techno gym makes great catrdio equipment.
i am not so crazy about their selectorized weight training equipment becouse for every good unit they make their is a bad one and not enough weights on the stack.
they just came out with a new line of plate loaded unilateral movement weight training equipment,i tried a few and i liked them,the equipment are heavy duty,smooth and have the correct angles.
for algosaibi gym,i purchased the row machine and the pull down.for ghassans gym,i purchased the wide chest press,the incline press the shoulder press and the low back row.
please stop by have a look and give them a try.

first exercise
go to failure with standing front shoulder presses,when you reach failure,imedietly start doing upright rows with the same weight,if you can't get full range it's ok,go to failure on those and then with the same weight start doing shrugs to failure.repeat for3to4more sets.
second and last exercise,start doing front dummbell lateral's,when you reach failure and with the same weight immedietly start doing side dummbell lateral,when you reach failure,imedietly and with the same weight start doing bent over dummbell lateral to failure.do3 sets of those,your shoulder workout is over.

they are here,in both gyms.the new equipment are fantastic,perfect smooth movement and extra heavy duty.some of them are built speachilly for us,you will not find them else where.please do come in and give them a try.
on dumbell pullovers
i think bent arm dumbbell pullover is a better exercise than straight arm dumbbell pullover,but if you like to do the straight arm pullover,then,here is a way of improving on that exercise.do your set of sraight arm pullover,when you reach your last rep,immedietly and with the same weight start doing bent arm pullover,you will be able to get a few more reps,you will benefit more from doing the pullover this way.
